Listr's models is brand new website dedicated to the art of model making.

 

Model making is often considered as an anaraks subject. But really it should be considered as a 3D piece of art, well depending on how good you are at model making. Most people start off model making at a young age and often revisit the hobby later on in their life. I however haven't left it alone yet.

 

I always wanted to fly but was not rich enough to go the full wack. I did some flying and loved every minute of it. After that i had to make do with airshows, museums and holiday jets! When i'm not on holiday, in a museum, or at an airshow, what could i do to get that aviation fix? MODELLING! Perfect.

 

One of my favorite aircraft is the F-117a Nighthawk. If i could fly one aircraft it would be that one. I like it so much because of its unique shape. It just goes to show what man can put together to acheive a goal, this one being stealth!

 

Although I love the nighthawk, I have to confess that to this date I only have one F-117a model, which is a revell 1:72 kit I made in high school. However I recently bought another revell kit but this time I went all out on the 1:48 kit. This is new territory for me as I have never modelled in such a big scale, so this feels like the next scale up is 1:1! I am an novice! If I write something on this site, please do not take it as an insult to the rest of the modelling population when i create models of NOVICE standards! Any advice would be welcomed as this can only make my models better, who knows one day show quality (i wish!)
